Hello!
We've been working on the technology side of our cars quite a lot lately. This year, we plan on being able to stream live video footage from SEMA in Detroit back to this website which will be shown at Central High School as well. We are currently working with the Raspberry Pi to see if it is possible to stream footage through the attachable camera module.
On top of streaming a live video feed from SEMA this year, we also plan on having a small display in our car(s) this year which will display diagnostics information such as lap count, timer, etc. To do this, we are working with the Arduino mini-computer board to program something which will be able to do the things above.
None of our ideas are rock solid yet, and by no means work completely, however, we have a very strong team of people who know what they are doing, and believe that we can have something that will work perfect for us at SEMA this year.
Thanks!
Central Supermileage Team
